who are working in the role of Assistant Site Manager, Assistant Supervisor and
Construction Site Supervisor.


Site supervisors are associated with the supervision of specialist contractors and workers
on construction projects and are based on construction sites with occasional time in
offices.


The main duties and tasks of a Construction Site Supervisor are:

  • supervision of specialist contractors
  • the control of health and safety standards on construction projects
    recording
  • control and reporting of progress on a construction project
  • the minimisation of the environmental impact of construction projects
    control of quality of works on a construction project
  • assisting commercial staff with the monitoring of costs on a construction project.

Description

The Pearson Edexcel Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Supervision is for learners
who are working in the role of Assistant Site Manager, Assistant Supervisor and
Construction Site Supervisor.

The Building and Civil Engineering Route of the qualification is made up of 14 mandatory units and 1 optional unit.

At induction you will complete a detailed plan with your Assessor which will identify the evidence you need to gather and the knowledge required to complete your portfolio and gain your qualification. All of our Assessors are occupationally competent and qualified to deliver the qualifications we are accredited to run.

Companies paying a CITB Levy should be able to receive CITB funding for this course, check the CITB website for confirmation.
